Das Thema Cybersecurity spielt auch im neuen Jahr 2022 eine gro\u00dfe Rolle. Noch immer werden gro\u00dfe Unternehmen, trotz vorhandener Sicherheitssysteme, Opfer von Cyberangriffen. H\u00e4ufig kennen Angreifer professionelle Tricks, um sich unbefugten Zugriff auf Firmensysteme zu verschaffen. Die Sch\u00e4den sind oftmals gravierend und erfordern eine weitere Versch\u00e4rfung der bestehenden Cybersecurity.

<\/strong><\/p>

Anfang Dezember 2021 ist eine neue Sicherheitsl\u00fccke aufgetaucht, die Hackern eine M\u00f6glichkeit geboten hat, in Unternehmenssysteme einzudringen und dort Schaden anzurichten. Durch die sogenannte Zero-Day-L\u00fccke in der Java-Logging-Bibliothek Log4j waren viele Sicherheitsexperten hinsichtlich der Risiken alarmiert.<\/p>

Besonders anf\u00e4llige Systeme sind Apache Log4j-Versionen zwischen 2.0 und 2.14.1. Hier wird geraten, auf die neuste Version von Log4j umzusteigen, um die Systemsicherheit zu erh\u00f6hen oder gar wiederherzustellen. Denn die bestehende Schwachstelle kann zu Remote Code Execution (RCE) durch Angreifer f\u00fchren. Damit w\u00e4ren Computer oder Prozesse dem Handeln des Angreifers wehrlos ausgesetzt \u2013 absehbar w\u00e4ren also Sch\u00e4den in den Systemen. Die damit einhergehenden Auswirkungen sind in den meisten F\u00e4llen sehr schwerwiegend.<\/p>

Trotz der Probleme, die die Sicherheitsl\u00fccke Log4j mit sich bringt, k\u00f6nnen Kunden von SEPPmail beruhigt sein. Die SEPPmail Appliance basiert nicht auf dem anf\u00e4lligen Java-Programm.
